Military Resources
Military OneSource is a free service provided by the Department of Defense to service members and their families to help with a broad range of concerns including money management, spouse employment and education, parenting and child care, relocation, deployment, reunion, and the particular concerns of families with special-needs members. They can also include more complex issues like relationships, stress, and grief. Services are available 24 hours a day — by telephone with professionally trained consultants and online. Many Military OneSource staff members have military experience (veterans, spouses, Guardsmen, Reservists), and all receive ongoing training on military matters and military lifestyle. The program can be especially helpful to service members and their families who live at a distance from installations.

What do you mean?! To see him graduate? To beable to walk around base with him?
Shane told me that before he goes to BMT he needs my drivers license number and crap to write down so when we go they check it i guess and make sure its you. Nick didn't say or do that before he left?

Yeah, to even be on base I guess.
Before Nick left he thought it was too late but he figured out I could give him that info, but by the time he got it and turned it in it WAS too late.
But he says I can still go, I just have to go to reception and show them ID and stuff like that.
So I'll probably bring my license and passport and ANYTHING that will get me on base!

The only reason they like to check before hand is so they don't have a line a mile long of familes tring to get on base graduation day because they need a back ground check....As long as you don't have any felonies, and I'm pretty sure you don't LOL, they will let you on base.
Nick's mom forgot to give her info before he left, but he told me over the phone that she can still come as long as she has her licences when we go next weekend.

I know I've heard of a few girls not getting passes in advance and they've all gotten on still! I can't remember who I talked to but they said they got there super super early just to make sure they could get signed on and it ended up only taking like 5 minutes and everything was fine. I think you'll definitely be fine as long as you have your license and all that good stuff!

When Nick called yeterday, he said that even though I have a pass on base, I still need to bring an ID like my drivers license, so it should be fine.

Thursday morning, I'm making Nick's mom get up at 5:00 am to make SURE we get there on time. She is seriously late for EVERYTHING and she takes forever to get ready. I'm sorry, but I'm not being late this time, lol.

Just visit the visitors center and get a pass. Just bring your licenses and you'll be fine.
