Military Resources
Military OneSource is a free service provided by the Department of Defense to service members and their families to help with a broad range of concerns including money management, spouse employment and education, parenting and child care, relocation, deployment, reunion, and the particular concerns of families with special-needs members. They can also include more complex issues like relationships, stress, and grief. Services are available 24 hours a day — by telephone with professionally trained consultants and online. Many Military OneSource staff members have military experience (veterans, spouses, Guardsmen, Reservists), and all receive ongoing training on military matters and military lifestyle. The program can be especially helpful to service members and their families who live at a distance from installations.

Hey ladies! So I just had a quick question. I know it's possible to graduate from BMT with Honors, but how exactly would my guy go about accomplishing that? I know you can get it by being in the top 10% of your flight. But how exactly is that done? Is the "top" defined as the best Airmen physically, academically or behavior? Or is it a combination? Thanks for ya'lls help!

This doesn't explain with to much detail but I found this:
http://usmilitary.about.com/od/airforcejoin/a/afbmthonor.htm

I'm gonna ask Matt for you later! I am like 99% sure that he has the honor grad ribbon but he has so freaking many I forget what is what. But I know he had some sort of honors for something so I thinkkk it was BMT but I'm not completely positive but will ask :)

So I'm talking to Matt right now and of course he got it lol idk why I doubted that. He said you basically have to have none of your 341's (an AF form) pulled. He says they sometimes take them for small things like forgetting to give your reporting statement. He said he saw some pulled for some really dumb things but they definitely get pulled for any major screw up. You have to score above a 90 on the test you have to take (he said that's where a lot of people screw up but but I doubt Tyler will have any problem!) and a 90 on the PT test. He said in his flight of 50 people their TI only selected 2 people so 4% instead of the possible 10%. I'm typing this as I talk to him so I don't think I missed anything lol so basically just get on the TI's good side and do everything you're supposed to so Tyler should have a really good chance! :)
